Waterloo Greenway Conservancy

Waterloo Greenway Conservancy (WGC) began its partnership with Breakaway PR in 2017 to raise its profile in Austin’s highly competitive non-profit market. The overriding purpose of the Conservancy’s programming is to create and maintain an extraordinary urban park system, in partnership with the City of Austin, for the benefit of all.

We Are Blood

Breakaway PR began working with We Are Blood (WrB) in 2018 when they were seeking a PR firm to raise awareness of the blood bank’s vital health role across its 10-county service area; the ultimate goal is to generate an increase in consistent blood donations for a fast-growing region.

AIA Austin Homes Tour 2018

Breakaway PR has represented AIA Austin over the past few years to promote its annual marquee event, the AIA Austin Homes Tour. Our key objective has been to increase awareness throughout Central Texas as well as showcase the tour’s architects and their homes via social media and traditional PR.

The Georgetown Convention and Visitors Bureau

The Convention and Visitors Bureau of Georgetown has partnered with Breakaway since 2015 to raise visibility and attract more leisure travelers, competing with a broad range of notable small to mid-sized Texas towns. Breakaway PR coordinated key messaging with the CVB, honing in on its small-town charm and history paired with natural beauty and an abundance of creative, arts-driven events and destinations.

YMCA of Austin

The Austin YMCA, with eight centers in the Greater Austin area and serving more than 100,000 people annually, contracted with Breakaway Public Relations in June of 2021 to bring fresh and broader attention to various programs, new and old.
